Working with Steam?

Did anyone get it 2 work with steam?

I'm sorry to say I have never tested this mod with steam, as such I can give no support on operating with it.

It works, just make sure the mod is in a folder called "SHOGUN" instead of "SHOGUN_NEW" and put this in your Launch Options "-mod:SHOGUN -show_err". Without the quotes of course.

Text files that communicate with like buildings and units are all linked to files in the SHOGUN_NEW folder. Just warning you. It might not work when you change your folder to SHOGUN.

Mine works as Shogun, but the first time I'd installed it I actually needed it 2 copies, one called SHOGUN and one called SHOGUN_NEW

Hi,

I can´t start the mod because I use Steam.

After start the exe I get the errormessage "Application Error - Failed to find Steam"
Rome without the mod has no problem.
I put the path to the rome directory in the exe but everytime this error

Please help!

You have to run the game through Steam, not the shortcut. To get it to run with the mod you have to:

1) Right click Rome Total War in your games list
2) Click "Properties"
3) Click the box called "Set Launch Options..."
4) Paste this line "-mod:BOA -show_err" without quotes.
5) Click OK to everything
6) Double clik on Rome Total War in your games list and select run Barbarian Invasion
