Installation Help (now with a MUCH! needed update)

happens with any faction, at any time i enter a battle or just after, and its completly random as well. it might not happen during a playing session or it can happen 3 or 4 times during a play session.

When the battle screen comes up and i get the choice to fight or auto resolve it can happen or when i won/lost a battle and i click exit, it happens

So you are saying that everytime you play a battle, it crashes at random times between the beginning and the end of the battle? I'm just trying to understand your situation.

Important question: Did you delete or rename the teutonic folder before extracting the "teutonic" folder in the .zip file? If not, that could be the problem. Overwriting the teutonic folder will result in some pretty serious issues. Delete your teutonic folder and try re-extrating the mod to your "mods" folder.

it's my first time when instaling mod's to mtw2 (i played only Tatw but there were automatic install)

I highly suggest you download the torrent here (by me). Installation is as easy as extracting one file to a folder.

You are going to need bittorrent or utorrent to download it though. The cool thing is that the torrent download can be paused and started and it won't stop, even if your computer is off. It includes the translation, hotfix, version 1.03, and some extra goodies. Plus, it's faster than most download sites.

Why the official files are bad? :< it's 1.5gb downloading for nothing ;D but ok ..you'r version is latest? and english?.

1) the reason why the official install is split up is because no (free) file hosting site can host a file that large. Some can host files as large as 2 GB, but download rates are extremely slow for free users.

2) Yes, it is in English and it has the latest version (1.031). It also includes a hotseat campaign, Beren's Chaos/Elf reskins, steroid's Event pics, and much more!

Btw, when you start the torrent, it might say that it'll take a few days/weeks. Just let it run and it will eventually say maybe 1-3 hours.

But i have problems -some text is still russian (little problem) .
But the biggest problem is that when i started to play with orks ( WAAGGHTT!) after 2 turns i had -15k gold ..wtf? i did build only 2 units and building that increase gold from farms...
I did look on financial of other factions and they didn't have such problems.
3th problem is that when i gathered my Waaghhtt band and travelled south to attack Dwarven cities i meet a dwarven army matching on me...( 3:1 - dwarfs didn't have cash on - :/) so i attacked it ( orcs don't know what is 3:1 they know only how to crusk,slash kill! ) But while i started battle i saw that dwarfs...were A WHITE MODEL ORCS O.O wtf?! noone from those army was a normall model of dwarfs (or orcs-they were juz a white army of orcs-wtf saruman in warhammer?).

Well unfortunately, those issue are just from the game, not from the installation. But it works fine other than that, right?

Any one playing on orks on torrent version? i ALWAYS have crash in 11 turn -with sub-mods or on clear wersion ;(;(.

Well, Real Warhammer isn't out yet so their is no download for that other than closed beta testing (of which I have plenty of beta testers for now), but once the unit stats are to my beta tester's and my liking, then I will release a public beta. Unit cost revisions will come afterwords.

The Torrent you downloaded, if I am thinking about the right one, already includes Beren's skin pack, so you don't need to worry about that one.

As for the New Ancilliries, that is compatible with the torrent, so it should work just fine.

And don't feel bad, you defenitely weren't wasting my time. I'm always happy to help the best I can

Ugh!!! Frustrated! I downloaded the your torrent (the full version), and I extracted the whole thing (there was only a folder called "teutonic" in it) in the mods folder. I made sure to rename the old teutonic folder too. But when I launch it (through Steam) everything that I can see is in Russian (the quotes at the bottom of the loading screen). And on the main menu each option doesn't have words (like Campaign, Multiplayer, options, or exit). So I clicked around on the options and it crashed and had an error box with no text.


I'll also note that I use Windows 7, I have also fully disabled UAC.

Please help, any help is much appreciated.
