If you want to see your game's FPS, go download FRAPS. It's a handy tool that lets you save your screenshots where you want and it shows your FPS in the top right corner of your screen. You can also disable that number if you want though.

Just run the exe-file, play your game, once finished, close the "program". Look the previous link for detailed info.

    Edit:

Since we are speaking of improving FPS, here's one mini-mod, which have improved my siege battles a lot, made by ziher:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downl...o=file&id=1103

It reduces Settlements high detail textures, reducing lag a lot, with minimal costs to graphical quality. Download link is dead, in that page, but you can see install instructions there in the comment section. Alltought Germanicu5 has uploaded it again to Filefront, download link here:

I'm not sure as I don't have Medieval 2 on steam. Try the first one first, and if that doesn't work, try the second one.

I recommend deleting your teutonic folder, and redownload all of the links on the first page. Once you do that, follow the instructions on the first page exactly

I will download Randir's files and the full 1.02 version to see how to run them. Once I do that, I will put two other sets of instructions up for you guys. One for Randir's files, and the other for the Full version of 1.02

Would love a guide like that. Seriously, I cant even figure out what I'm supposed to do with the 4 files from the "full" version at http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=320935

I cant extract them or open them in any archiving software. The instructions are a bit whimsy, so what am I supposed to do?

I just thought that someone might like to know that the depositfiles download for the version 1.01 sound patch did not work. Didn't know where to post this news and saw a thread on installation help. The download just autolinks you back to the "choose download speed" screen, whithout starting any sort of download (other than annoying adverts). Is this normal or not? I assume not.

Unless i'm limited to downloading only one file a day or something.

Answers would be appreciated. After all, i cant repetatively praise the developers if i can't even patch to the latest stable version.

    Thanks.

There's a link to the sound patch in the first post. As soon as I test those other download methods, I'll post those in the first post.

Just to inform the crowd, I am currently downloading the official files. Once I get all of the files downloaded and installed, I'll post a new set of instructions alongside the older ones.
