Having Trouble with Siege battles?

This is for the people who are having troubles playing siege battles in custom battles (with pictures!):

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY!

1. Select a map without the little silver box next to it.

2. Set the settlement level to "Fort"

Note: It will say "none" for settlement level after this. That's alright!

3. Select your culture (such as Empire)

4. Re-select your settlement level (such as Huge-City)

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

5. Play the siege battle!

Thank for this tutorial. I however noticed that AI was particularly crap in siege Battles. I mean, I also play Third Age, and the difference is clearly huge ! I hope there will be a solution soon !

I have to check my notes but Third Age, I believe, uses Darth's AI mod for the newer versions both for the campaign and custom battles.

Just wanted to thank the Holy Pilgrim for providing all the "Having trouble" work around mini tutorials and generally just helping around this forum.

It actually figured this one out on my own after some trial and error before I saw this thread but like I said above helping people out is always appreciated.

I'd love to do this but I can't, everytime I do a siege battle the game crashes. I feel I'm missing some files or something.

It sounds like an installation issue.

Did you install over your teutonic mod, or did you rename the teutonic folder before you installed the mod?

I found and im saddened to say that the only way i found to get around CTD after fighting scripted seiges or any other segies, Empire invastions "the little crusade icon above them armys" keeps ctd at drakenhof fro me at momement. its to invoke very dark "cheat" magic. When at the battle scroll, input this code in auto_win "attacker/defender", attacker if attacking, defender if defending and press auto retaliate button. Automatically wins and ctd does not happen. I Feel that cheating once in while to keep me campagin going is worth not having repted Ctd and besides i was goan win any way
