actually we are quite well with historical research, the main help that we need is on the AOR units, the units from the origin region and not the units that are not comprised in the regular roaster of own faction...

for the regular roaster we need some research help with sassanid, arab, lombards, ostrogoths, georgia, romania, russia, serbia, mongol-turkish tribes, poland...

it's hart to rapresent Rome after the glory of the empire and before the glory of reinassance...a hard mix of destruction and majesty...

A description at the time of Otto III travelling to Rome for his Imprerial coronation ,desribes hundreds of green tarnished church roofs and a malaria infested swamp that was the colleseum

I agree you have your work cut out ,It was also said that Otto III still heard the ghosts of the Caesars ,so as you quite rightly put it a balance of majesty and degredation .Good luck

your pardons my Lords, but the mother of all cities was "The City" Constantinople,Κωνσταντινουπολις.
Founded in 11 of May ,330 with the name "New Rome" but the pple prefered to call it with the founder's name,Constantinople.

I for one,am waiting so hard this mod..

It depends on what year we're speaking of...for the timeframe of this mod you're right, but when Κωνσταντινουπολις was founded, Rome was looking back on hundreds of years of power and reigning over large parts of the known world. When Rome started building her empire, Byzantion was still a tiny fishing village. (No offence)

    Ἀληθῶς ἀνέστη!

Greetings to all my orthodox brothers and to you all, that Christ watches on all us!

    Χριστὸς ἀνέστη ἐκ νεκρῶν,
