Thanks fellas. I'll try and get another update up fairly soon and not leave so much of a gap.
I also might make a poll as to what to do in the post-war world. Scotland is currently tussling with the Papal States for military and overall world supremacy. If Scotland is victorious, she will be an uncontested continent-spanning empire...

Wow I love this AAR! Wouldn't be cool if there would be a Battle of the Bulge scenario in one of your missions? Just saying because it it would be epic if one of your forces valiantly held the line against the Pope.

The Battle of Toledo in update XXXI was very much in that vein, one brigade holding the line against two Papal armies.
If I can I'll put an update up later on today, hopefully it will live up to ALZU's image...

Good update! The Papacy really looks desperate now, with any luck the Pope will have lost a large enough portion of his military to leave him stretched thin.
Once the Italian peninsula goes, you'll have a naval staging point and a firm grip on the belt of the known world! Good luck with that Papal buildup near Thorn.

Bad news fellas. Fired up M2TW in preparation for another update, the launcher hadn't even loaded when I heard a sickening crack and grinding noise from my DVD drive. Couldn't open it, so had to turn off the computer and use a bent paper clip to open it manually. Got it open and found this:
Sorry for the poor quality, used an old webcam. A massive bent crack in the first game disc.
Put poor M2TW to one side and tried a different DVD in the drive, but the drive didn't detect the disc. Tried again, same thing. So the M2TW disc is dead as is my DVD drive. As, consequently. is the AAR. An ignoble end for something with such grand intention. Sorry folks.
