Hassasins were never famous of their supreme armies nor their battlefield victories so it woulnt be wise to give them supreme armies if there would ever be an Alamut castle. But a different and unique castle structure that gives the defender ultimate control over the area would be realy fine and accurate.

Btw here is not the place but.... without shiism Broken crescent is not that broken at all. I mean while shiism and sunni rivalry was the root reason of almost all the conflicts in the area , it doesnt seem logical to not to represent it....

Yes, you are right; but we have already decided to include shia as one of BC religions.

Here I have some ideas for special buildings in Constantinople, the Queen of Cities (excluding the Hagia Sophia, as you already have her in BC).

    THE HIPPODROME OF CONSTANTINOPLE

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The first Hippodrome in old Byzantium was built by Emperor Septimus Severus of the Romans. Constantine I (306-337) upgraded it when he promoted the city to capital of the Empire.

Effects: allow races to be hold, +2 exp to cavalry trained here, +20% Public Order, increase in trading.

    THE GREAT AQUEDUCT OF VALENS

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

It was built by Emperor Valens (364-378). More info: Engineering an Empire - the Byzantine Greeks (Part 1 & 2)

Effects: health +2 and huge bonus in population growth.

THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY APOSTLES:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Constantine I began to build it and it was completed by his son, Constantius II.

Effects: religion conversion bonus, bonus in public order

    THE THEODOSIAN WALLS

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

They were the most powerful defensive system of the world outside China, built by Theodosius II (408-450)

Effects: extra wall defences, law and public order bonus

    THE PALACES OF CONSTANTINOPLE

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Various palaces erected for the glory of the Empire and Emperor. Includes Blachernae, Bucoleon, Porphyrogennitoi and the ultimate Grand Palace.

Effect: bonus in law, public order and population growth.

EDIT: I've added some less important buildings

    FORUM OF CONSTANTINE

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The Forum of Constantine was built at the foundation of Byzantium immediately outside of the old walls. It was circular in shape and had two monumental gates to the east and west. The column of Constantine which still stands upright and is known as Çemberlitaş was erected in the centre of the square. It was originally crowned with a statue of Constantine, but this fell down in 1106 and was replaced under Manuel Komnenos (1143-1180) by a cross. Otherwise the forum remained nearly intact until 1204. The Senat House lay on the north side of it. We know from the sources that the square was decorated with a number of antique statues. Some of them that we know of are: a dolphin, an elephant, a group of hippocamps, judgement of Paris, Palladion, Athena and Thetis, Artemis. Possible ones are Poseidon, Askleipios and Dionysios.

Effects: increase in tradeable goods, law bonus

    FORUM OF THEODOSIUS

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The forum of Theodosios was built in the years after 380 and inaugurated in 393. The ruins of the Arch of Theodosios are the only part of it that can be reconstructed on the base of archeological evidence. Until recently, the Forum of Theodosios was believed to have been much bigger than it is shown here. The present reconstruction is based on the remains of the foundation walls found in the vicinity of the Arch. They prove that the forum actually was a square of about 55 x 55 m with an exedra to the north. The column of Theodosios which was very similar to the Column of Arkadios and is now lost stood on this square.

    HAGIA IRENE

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The church of the Holy Peace (Hagia Eirene) was built in the fourth century at the place where the old church of the bishop of Byzantium stood before the refoundation of Constantine the Great. The church was destroyed by fire in 532 and then rebuilt. Its present shape goes back to a restoration after an earthquake in 740. The Hagia Eirene formed a complex together with the Hagia Sophia, the Hospital of Sampson in between and some other subsidiary building, and it was served by the same clergy. Though the Hagia Eirene was always one of the greatest churches of Byzantium, it is mentioned rarely by the sources in later times. In the ottoman time it became an armoury and later a military museum.

Effects: bonus in public order and religion conversion

you could put in the ruins of Solomon's Temple, also known as the First Temple, was the temple in Jerusalem, on the Temple Mount (also known as Mount Zion), before its destruction by Nebuchadnezzar II after the Siege of Jerusalem of 587 BCE and then deysroyed again by the romans. It Was also the first Templar Temple or so they say.

maybe be just a few, but most of it is original i think. after all, it was common for men to learn from other, ex:the Roman learn something from persian etc. besides the only roman building i know similar to what the muslim have is hagia sophia .

"And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the best of creators. After that, surely, you will die. Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. And indeed We have created above you seven heavens (one over the other), and We are never unaware of the creation." (QS. Al-Mu'minun (23):12-17)

Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Arabic: المسجد النبوي‎ [mæsdʒɪd ænnæbæwiː] "Mosque of the Prophet"), often called the Prophet's Mosque, is a mosque situated in the city of Medina. As the final resting place of the Prophet Muhammad, it is considered the second holiest site in Islam by Muslims (the first being the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca) and is one of the largest mosques in the world. The mosque is under the control of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
One of the most notable features of the site is the Green Dome over the center of the mosque, where the tomb of Muhammad is located. It is not exactly known when the green dome was constructed but manuscripts dating to the early 12th century describe the dome. It is known as the Dome of the Prophet or the Green Dome.[1] Subsequent Islamic rulers greatly expanded and decorated it. Early Muslim leaders Abu Bakr and Umar are buried in an adjacent area in the mosque.
The site was originally Muhammad's house; he settled there after his Hijra (emigration) to Medina, later building a mosque on the grounds. He himself shared in the heavy work of construction. The original mosque was an open-air building. The basic plan of the building has been adopted in the building of other mosques throughout the world.
The mosque also served as a community center, a court, and a religious school. There was a raised platform for the people who taught the Qur'an. In 1909, it became the first place in the Arabian Peninsula to be provided with electrical lights.[2][IMG][/IMG]

Will these buildings simply be shown on the campaign map, or will they be present at the battles? I was really excited to see Jerusalem as a unique city during a battle, with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Dome of the Rock present, but it was just like every other city It's really possible to create unique cities. The TATW team managed to created unique cities like Minas Tirith. Why can't an amazing mod like Broken Crescent do likewise?

TATW is a fantasy mod. It makes sence to remodel everything for this scenario, because the vanilla settlements don´t look like the cities Tolkien describes in his books. You will be amazed how huge the amount of data is for the TATW settlements

Well, if it is possible to remodel entire settlements, wouldn't it be possible to put unique buildings in the current settlements?

Oh and considering how there were unique generals in vanilla, it would also be really cool to make custom skins for famous generals featured in the game. Because I seriously doubt Baldwin showed his face like any other general, and yeah, lol
