there are thoughts of adding another(the last) unit in Mirkwoods roster
it will replace the S.Heavy Archers who will be given to Galadhrim solely with the additional green-mint body-type
final adjustments are beeing made .... so standby people!

koultouras, is it possible to add some cloaks to the Elven Archers from Lorien, grey cloaks as described in the book. Those could be Lorien Wardens/Sentinels, as Haldir & Co

I first wanted to suggest more cloaks, too, but then i saw that many of the lorien units already have cloaks. I think some visual diversity is good.

several units already have cloacks
eg. spearmen /infantry / Lothlorien Rangers / all the heavy galadhrim units and the body guards have as well

Furthermore the new nirkwoods heavy archer is planned to have cloacks
but it is still WIP.... so arent they enough already?


i suppose giving them more would be bad for their diversity(not good) , cause eventually every unit will have one
not to mention that we d like to use cloacks as sign of nobility , so monochromatic ones for low tier(at least the ones that come with a cloack) , and more colorful ones for high tier

the original ones had only one variance after all.... You should know that there are limited options of implementig too many new colors
we have to keep in mind the factions main colors always.....and the fact that sometimes even if we d like to do something more
the options arent limitless

i did understand your post dont worry m8....
i am just explaining that sometimes there are things that members rightfuly ask for and
we probably have allready thought of , but in modeling-skinning there is always
a limitation.....

It's refreshing to see Elves with axes, and I also think it's good that the Mirkwoord Elves have more axe units than the Galadhrim as I always imagined the Galadhrim to be 'nobler'.

Good job! Will be watching this further!

ah, yep, the rangers of Lothlorien have the nice cloaks, indeed. adding one more unit would be too much. May be adding some capes to them for diversity? just a suggestion

btw, great Palace Guards! I'd definitely implement all the changes in the official mod
