    Default Artfuls Artwork

Hey, I'm Edd and I recently got CS4 as a late christmas present, i have been playing around with 2D art.
I had a question and thought this is the best place to post it... unitl i saw it was all workshop of amazing pieces of art, anyhow...feel out of my depth now.

Right then, i made these, for the ruins of arnor sub-mod and I was wondering if there is a better way to blend the sword into the background.

This is some of my other work, the latter two which I am partically happy with as I have only had CS4 for 5 days, and it took a day to bloody install.

Welcome! You're talented for just starting with 2D-art!

May I advice you to change the title to something that has something to do with you, for example;"ArtfulDogder's Artwork" or something like that.
If you do not know how to change your title, please let me know and I will do it for you.

    regards

Hey, a few older pieces and some new ones i have been trying out

    Older(Faction symbols and sigs)

These were made for the FROME sub-mod for TA:TW, however they were rejected so they are up for grabs for anyone who wantes them.

as for these two, i think my major problem is learning how to get that effect of major blending, having something fit seemlessly onto the backgorund. The green one was for a friend on a different site and the second for Koultouras. Any help is welcome

New, I tried a vintage style with some clever qoutes, kinda like those odd birthday cards you can buy in the uk..... anyhow, enjoy

    Hopefully more to come
    Criticism welcome

Great job, but could I advise you to add a gentle Bevel and Emboss to your symbols ? They will look less plain that way
