I think that create the "Prussian Tribes" is a realy could idea. By the way I'm glad this mod is back. Vlad Mongol invasion was one of my the first mod I play on Rome Total war. Great job!

I read Prussian Germanic tribes (it's some germans saxons and frisii tribes) migrated to the territory of Prussia in 7-8 century AD

Prussians were a Baltic tribe, similar to Lithuanians and Latvians, but they had som earlier Germanic (Saxon, Scandinavian) and Slavic (Pomeranian, Polish) influences. Their language were Western Baltic, the Easterns are Lithuanian and Latvian/Lettish. Later, Prussian people was germanized by the Teutonic Order.

Books on the history of the early slavs say that the first tribes in the area were finno-ugrians (Estonia/Livonia/Finland/Karelia etc) and were driven out by balts (Latgallia/Lithuania/Prussia) in the 6th century the slav tribes settled there as well (polish). The germanic tribes were a little bit more to the west (coastline of former eastern germany) in the 6th century, they went away (great migration) and then slavic tribes settled there (Wends, Sorbs, and the like). The extinct prussian language was a baltic language.
