Issue with M2TW

Firstly, My PC Specs are:

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
Intel pentium 4 3.06 ghz
2048mb RAM
Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS

I have purchased the Steam version of this game (£2.50, who could say no)

Upon launching the game, when i press 'play' on the launcher, the game just crashes.

I have successfully managed to launch the game before on my Older worse computer (But could not run actual matches, but atleast it loaded)

Its specs were:

Windows XP
2MB RAM
Some awful integrated intel graphics
Pentium 4 2.8 ghz

Does anyone have an useful suggestions?

It will play it but not good.

Your graphics card is minimum so it will heat up on you can cause ctds after you play a while or try to fight big battles, maybe even little battles.
With Win 7, you really need another gig of ram to give the game a chance.
Pentium 4 is okay because the game omly uses one core.

The symptoms are graphics and drivers

If you have just installed Win7, activate it so you can get the updates. Be sure to get all the optional software ones, too. You do that you will have Wnidows Media Player and .Net framework up to date.
Get Nvidia's latest drivers off their site. They do work because I use them.
This one you have to do. Go to Microsoft's website and install directx 9.0c. You have to or this game don't run.
