Installing the M2TW (US) gold patch

I have M2TW gold edition. I'm trying to install DLV, which requires Kingdoms patched to 1.5

I found the patch here http://help.sega.com/index.php?_m=do...215&nav=0,1,19

I then dl'ed it to my Medieval II Total War folder. When I try to play one of the Kingdoms campaigns, it says I'm still running 1.4

I'm sure there's something obvious that I'm not doing right. Any ideas?

Kingdoms CD/installation will automatically patch medieval II to patch v1.4

v1.4 is the last official patch for medieval II. You will only see patch v1.4 in medieval II.

Kingdoms (think of it as a seperate totalwar game) is patched to v1.5, the last official patch for kingdoms only.

DLV, I think is a kingdoms mod, which is why they say it requires kingdoms patch v1.5 to play.



And just incase your unsure, Your totalwar games has to have the same language as the patch your installing it to. US + UK = Dose not work. US + US = works (just a example).

You have to unpack the update with winrar, 7zip, or winzip and then run the setup.exe included in the patch.
