18Th Century Military Marches (27-12-2009)

[Preussen Gloria]

This mod intend to recreate the historical feeling of the 18Th century battles,i decided to give my contribution to the comunity sharing my music.





- This mod adds ONLY HISTORICAL military march music from the 18Th century,so you will hear no
Unter dem Doppel Adler,some 19th century prussian march or some Napoleonic march music!






- This mod is based on an accurate historical research from the period.





- This music pack covers military marches that were written between year 1730 and year 1780





- Here is a brief list of some of the marches that i added:


- Grenadiermarsch des Grenadier Garde Bataillon

- Grenadiermarsch des Regiments von Selchow

- La Marche des Mousquetaires Noirs




- Future Release


i am considering to release in the future a few more music packs with marches that covers the period
1730 - 1790,russians,swedish austrians and prussians,brits and french.
i might also add some new music campaign with composer of the period like Bach,Vivaldi and Händel









INSTRUCTIONS

all you need to do is to simply unzip the rar,then move the pack file into your data folder,and then open your user.script file and add this string....

mod 18Th_Century_marches.pack;

save,and run the game

This mod is not replacing the music files in gran campaign.....yet

but i think i will also repleace them with a new version of this mod,

right now what it does is to make our little toy soldiers march at the rythm of fife and drums

Update 18Th Century Military Marches 1.1

I just found some small problems with the first version of my music mod,it seemed that the marches did not play all the time,so here i release the first update for this mod.

Looking forward to packs for other factions as well. Personally I think it would be excellent if you'd combine all of the marches into a Campaign music pack. I've been hoping someone would put together a stirring 'Martial Music' soundtrack for the grand campaign. I enjoy the various period music packs already out there for the campaign, but lets face it... we play Empire to conquer other nations - not to sit around listening to concertos!

Correction from earlier: the mod does work but I have to deselect Xbox360kz to make it work. It's also not faction-specific. Could you make it faction-specific? Also, the sound volume is a bit weak. Could you increase the volume somewhat?

I like the music, and the mod. But i think the volume is to week. Is ther any way to fix that?? But thanks for the mod anyway.

Yes,i noticed that a few marches have the volume to weak,but do not worry gentlemen,this is just the second version that i released,soon i make available a new pack with increased volume.

Yes,it was my first time to mod some music files,and i think i made some mistakes with the balance sound.
but now it should be fine
soon i'm going to release a new version that will include battle musics as well.
