    Default [MP Campaign] No recruitment bug?

    Hi,

    These are the circumstances:

    APE:TI 1.09 (NON-BETA VERSION)

    I'm playing as Knights of St. John on script difficulty -1 and

    disable_replenish_button = false -- disable the replenish unit button
    disable_promote_button = false -- disable the promote general/admiral button
    enable_schoolmaster = false -- enable the schoolmaster trait
    handover_protectorates = true -- whether or not to hand over the regions of the 13

    colonies, New Spain and Louisiana to their appropriate factions


    and my friend is playing Italian states.

    Difficulty is Battle: normal, Campaign: hard

    We are playing a long campaign.

    We could recruit units from our home towns early on but now ALL RECRUITMENT in cities are not possible. When we click recruitment on cities there is just empty space, NOTHING shows up for recruitment and everything we were recruiting THE FIRST TURN is now gone.

    Any hints? Solutions?

    This usually happens when a city has more recruitment slots than UI can display -- I don't know how the scripting is going to work across the MP campaign, though, so it may also be a product of some synch issue in the scripting.

    The only thing I can think of right now; change the recruit_slots_max_level in the TI_Prefs to 10 -- the trait level has never been a problem but it with the cities only capable of displaying 10 slots this may help.

    If you want, you and I could do a run through of the game and you could find all the potential problems.

    Another issue is this, I cannot play as Venice because there's not enough room on the screen to select it, lol.

    Did not fix the problem, still cannot recruit any units. This happens AFTER turn one.

    *EDIT* However, I CAN recruit from docks AND from GENERALS/ARMY. So it seems as if it is indeed a UI problem. Since I Can recruit from generals the game is now playable But i would like a workaround.

    Until I've had some time to test the MP campaign myself I can't venture any quesses -- I will definately update this thread with any info I come across.
