Seriously, adding a whole faction, even just to custom battles, isn't just a simple file or that sort of stuff. You have to make everything from scratch: models, unit stats, portraits, texts...
Either way, good luck.

In 1.4 there were a bunch of fully functional Skaven units in unit_descr which you could enable by removing "no_custom", but they aren't there in the latest realise.

copy/ paste from the edu of an earlier version. The models are still in the database.

That is what I did. I even have them in campaign spawning as rebels.

I posted them once and they should still be up. Just need to search the forum. When I have time I will track them down.

this time I have the original 1.5 EDU - than added on units from 1.4.4. You will need to rename this to export_descr_unit of course for it to work. I have the file named as export_descr_unitskaven right now for organization reasons.

and the descr rebel fractions file with the skaven set to spawn as rebels, bandits etc.

you can copy paste the sections of the EDU containing the specific skaven units and paste them into your own EDU file.

the rebel file was unchanged between 1.5 and 1.5.1

i rename file in export_descr_unit and i copy to, mod : call of warhammer : data,loading screen is locked.thank for your kindness

i know this is ultra necro but I really want to get the skaven in my game I see the two attachments, do I save those in certain spot?

Wait for 1.6. There'll be a fully functional Skaven faction.
