    Balancing is still ongoing.

All hail RS team. Absolutely astonishing, specially like the wolf/lion skins, also the numidians look like from another planet.

    Absolutely worth the long waiting.

So do they have the same stats as the Pergamese and Seleucid units, or since they're mercenaries, are they weaker?

numidians look like from another planet

    They haven't been redone yet.

I Hope that "Nothing Like Them" Means that the actual Thorokitai Agrysgapides are the terror on the battlefield , whilst these Mercenaries Thorkitai Arabes or what not (copycats) can't go toe to toe with the Seleucid unit. The Ptolemies simply have a very strong Heavy Infantry Roster, and this would be an unfair advantage if they could match the Seleucid Super Unit with sum Mercenary copycat... id still crush them either way hehe

In my opinion Numidians are looking perfectly. I don't know if they are redone or not, but units are great.

Maybe you mean the libyphoenicians with the bronze cuirass?

You DO know that if they're the same EDU entry, they'll have the same base stats, of course. Now, whether or not they're the same EDU entry is another issue.

Your conclusion is probably accurate, however. Probably. T___T

I think in fact some spearmen that look like triarii are recruitable as mercs in Italy ... >___>

Awesome Romans. To think that this is just part of the grandness of Roma!
Regadring the units, I was a little bit afraid that the Romans may be 'overdone', as in a flashy kind of way - just so they could look good compared to their very flashy (historically so) barbarian counterparts. I'm very pleased that the Romans retain their rugged, 'effective' looks. The Romans were almost never show-offs, they were practical.

Onwards, RS team, may you please the Universe with this amazing project when it officially comes to life. Much health and joy to all in the forum during the holidays!

P.S. Is there even a real word - 'flashy'?

Aah I thought so. On my keybord it's called F5. But that didn't work of firefox. So i'm surfing with google chrome now. It is a lot faster I must say. I think I'l use it when I have to view large images etc.

Ayway about the preview. You guys make me feel like when I was a child again. Waiting for a game to come out and then playing it hours in a row. Aaah the days of Age of Empires I & II. If this is gonna be more then 2 months I'm gonna do a Cartman here. I'm gonna freeze myself in untill RSII has come out.

Yes there is and you've used it correctly.
Glad you guys like the Romans - the legions and auxilia will be better (I think)

First of all: Great work. Very neat models. And that with and Engine which is 5 years old!!

But I also think that the generals look more like greeks or something. But I am not a historian, I just compare to RS 1.6. Maybe I have to rush to Marian Reforms then.

Great work, guys! Hail to the RS Team!

One quick question: Has the Team worked on the Roman Ai Expansion, too? (you know, in most mods, the Roman AI expands directly to the north, screwing up the whole gameplay sometimes)

And in some mods Rome is destroyed by another faction...
