    Default Soverieghn of the Seas sails on ?

    I know nothing about modding, perhaps building a ship from nothing, from scratch, is not possible ?

    Anyway , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Sovereign_of_the_Seas

    Here's a decent broadside picture of the ship on this page, scroll down the page ;

    Yes, the Sovereign of the Seas burned in dry dock in 1697, and she had been laid up in drydock more-or-less permanently for some years before that.

    But what if she had not ? What if the British had restored her? Theoretically, she could have continued to sail in the line of battle until 1800.

    --or what if the British had sold the " hopeless " wreck to another power, and they restored her ?! ( after all, the British already have so many special units in this game . WHY NOT let the Prussians, or the Venetians, etc, have her ? )

    Think of it, this great Grand old dame, covered in gold leaf and decorated from stem to stern, sailing in your line of battle !

    One little mod devoted to resurrecting one great ship for the new century.

    That's the idea.
