No, I believe this is not dead.

And The Lordz did not make a NTW 3 for many other reasons as well. The fact is, RTW had many MORE limitations then M2TW (Gunpowder Wise) and Gunpowder units are already in M2TW. No, the Lordz had other reasons.

What you've done so far italiano was bloody good, and we appreciate what you've done.

If you guys read the post (which is titled "change of management", not "dead mod") then you would see I've handed it over to someone who was already working on the mod.

It has nothing to do with whether the era is unsuitable and whether it is too tough, I just aren't enjoying modding M2 at the moment so I need to step away. If it wasn't a reasonable mod then I wouldn't have continued to work on it. The only reason why I didn't stop originally was because I wanted to get it near or to a version I could release.

The mod could actually be released in its current state (minus a couple of ctds, which might just mean going back a few steps), it would just be rough. It won't take that much for Palpatine to push it over the line, although there's still a good amount of work to be done (for example, I hadn't worked on the terrain for the map).

Not as much as you would think. The main problem will be getting the battle AI to behave reasonably.

It's ok guy's the mod isn't dead, So don't run away thinking oh no not Palpatine arrgh the worlds coming to an end, it's not. I am quite an experienced Total War modder I just don't brag about it I usually mod things just for my self and thats it. Well I love this period and am not about to let this mod flop on its backside. So please bear with me people.
