Citizenship selection (through precedent) went down a bad, dark, scary road akin to Neo-Facism... one of the reasons I left the CdC. Citizenship should be about activity, and good energy input into the community, and not stricter and stricter pseudo-rules designed to raise the importance and holier-than-thoughness of those that make them.

When did this neo-fascist shift occur? I really haven't noticed much.

Actually, there are some stuff I don't understand.

- Why during every loincloth is given, there is a mention to cover the loins? So what, do we all run around naked?
- Why is Leo so touchy about the Patrician thing? Coming to think of it, what is exactly (in simple words) a Patrician post?

Patricians were a long abolished intermediary rank... I miss it ... was more colourful. We had a very colourful era the first couple of years of TWC, also overly dramatic, then came the purists and abolished all types of other things: Patricianism, Moderator appointments, posting cleverly while voting (was loads of fun really, and it affected voter frequency negativelly), and other things, and me.

The loin-coverage is that all other are naked, because they want attention or other things, the ones who don the loin-cloth have lived among us un-egoistic, un-ambitious and pure of spirit. Its hard to understand perhaps, but its a cultural reference to the guru-culture. Purity and modesty is the two sauces that it recognizes.
