That's some hell of a confusing voting system...

Basically it quite simple, you just copy and paste from their list. You don't have vote for every single category, but if you vote for one person you must add two runners-up...

Also, think of them as first, second, and third choices because each place is weighted differently. It might actually make the vote more meaningful though, because people have to really want to vote to actually be motivated to do it.

But it's pointless if I don't know more than let's say two mappers... ooooor like your favorite mod. What if I only played 2 Medieval II Total War mods... am I going to have to make up a third one? I know that I don't have to post in every category but there are people that I would like to vote for and I will have to make up names or do some research to come up with two more.... zzzzzz... I suppose it's not a bad system but it could have been much more simple.

As you say if you only know of one person good at mapping- then you haven't got a frame of reference and shouldn't be voting anyway!

But you don't have to vote in every category, just the ones you want- but whenever you vote you must vote for three choices.

I have that same issue with it. Some categories are easy for me, but for some I've had to do some research to find a third name and of course many categories I'm just not able to vote on because I really don't know.
