Nice Project Pertinax the map looks very promising , U will have to make a lot of new units different from the normal CA ones , Romans did also use phalanxes in earlier time , any screen of them ?

beh to we that one interests the republican period very many... in which the myth of Rome is been born. wanting the map it could be larger but we would have to add other factions like Illiryans of Queen Teuta, the Marseillaises and quite Cartagho... however is not said that it is still not increased until comprising the Sardinia and is faction...

The campaign should start in 333 b.C. (coming of Alexander the Molossus in southern Italy) and should finish at the time of the end of the second punic war, about 245 b.C.
That map looks very good, do you have an in-game screenshot or a picture of the map_regions.tga though?
