windows 7 64 bit problem

hi,

im havin problems running the the main kingdoms campaign. all the individual campaigns load up ok but when click the main kingdoms exe it ctds on the splash screen.

the original mtw2 loads up fine so i dont get it. ive tried kingdoms with and without the 1.5 patch but it ends with the same result.

any got any ideas?

kingdoms.exe is NOT standalone. It has to start a campaign, whether it be one of the four that came with it or a mod based on one of them.

Nothing wrong with Win 7, 64 bit. I use it.

oops silly me, its been a while since ive played it. so how does it work with mods then, there are lots of major mods designed for kingdoms, do they not use the kingdoms exe?

Yes they do and they all have their own .bat and .cfg files to do it.

Each one to its own and you deal with that mod to know how it works. If you want to play Stainless Steel, you want to play Regions and Provinces, you use theirs and right on down the list.
