Default Multiplayer Campaign and the IS mod

Though I have not thoroughly tested it, it seems that my two computers running on LAN will successfully implement IS into the MPC IF both computers have the same file structure.

I will post my further testing results but it may be good to start an official IS Mod structure for the general populace to play together.

Also, I'd like to start an official Campaign with someone to test things out.

I use the Smoke and Blood Mod, AUM, and of course IS.

If someone wants to volunteer to test with me that would be awesome to have some fan support and a great way to get involved in further development of our mod.

My timezone is CST, and this week I will be on mostly late morning to afternoon for testing. Hit me up on Steam (Bongfu) or PM me if you would like to help me out. Please have a decently fast computer as I want to do a load test with as much as possible including the graphics mods and ultra units to see how far this Beta has come.

Just tried this with my housemate on LAN. Everything seems to be working well with just IS and the hotfix, but as GB and France we do not get the colonies. They remain protectorates.

Also, we were only able to choose from the vanilla major nations at game start.

Me and a friend tried playing this over hamachi/total war online with 2.1.2, AUM 2.8 IS version, and the FX4 mod, but no matter what we do it we get incompatibility messages when trying the mod. Vanilla works fine, but even after redownloading all the files and reinstalling them, IS 2.1.2 still says incompatible. We had this problem when trying to play battles before too, any idea why this is happening?

Do you have different versions of one of the sub-mods?
Me and Lucan were trying to play a game, and after an hour of bug-hunting we realized that we had different versions of the BSM. After that we've had quite a few awesome IS games.

Another big thing, which is an easy mistake to make is this; your user-empire.scripts must be exactly the same! Even if you have the same mods in a different order than each other in your user-empire.script it will read it as different, and therefore incompatible.

    Hope I helped!

Me and my friend have been able to play IS 2.1.2 clean pretty well, the only issue being that the starting units follow the vanilla settings. Everything else plays out pretty well.

Unfortunately the only things that seem to transfer over are the stats and units. We have not figured out how to actually mod the MP Campaign yet. If we do, we will release a MP version of the IS campaign.

    So stay classy TWC

Nope, IS Technologies do work My friend as GB can research anglo-dutch firing drills, and as Sweden I can get Elevation for Mortars.

After 12 turns as GB and France, the game crashed during Prussia's turn. Trying again as Sweden and Prussia.

I figured that one out, but there are several problems I have encountered. The first being the most obvious, a pain in the arse to change out if you want to play the vanilla game, not to mention it takes up a lot more space. Secondly, on my own private LAN I encountered a lot more crashes and inconsistency errors. So the big question is can we make a more portable mod with better stability on the MPC.

I got desync everytime infantry shoots in Land Battle (no problem with marine in Naval Battle). I tried remove all other mod than IS but that doesn't fix the problem.

Update - Fresh installed and cleaned up fixed the problem.

I just tried it out with my friend, Russia vs. Prussia. He attacked Saxony and I found out what it was like to be in the place of the dumbstruck AI, standing on the boomy end of Prussian muskets. Since he is bad at the game though, I killed 2/3rds of his troops with only Firelock Armed Citizens before losing.
