IF you like to see naturall wonders here :

    Also known as Donbavand
Highest peak in Iran and the Middle East
Highest volcano in all of Asia

Mount Damavand is a dormant volcano located in Iran. With the summit reaching 18,406 feet (5,610 m), it is the highest peak in Iran and the Middle East and it is the highest volcano in all of Asia.

Mount Damavand is part of the Alborz mountain range. it is located near the southern coast of the Caspian Sea As a dormant stratovolcano, Mount Damavand features fumaroles towards the peak which have spewed sulfur as recently as 2007.

Additionally, Mount Damavand features thermal springs. Combined with the fumaroles, the hot springs give evidence that hot magma is still present beneath the volcano

    http://sevennaturalwonders.org/asia/mount-damavand

Mount Damāvand (Persian: دماوند ) also known as Donbavand, a potentially active volcano and the highest peak in Iran, has a special place in Persian mythology and folklore. Located in the middle Alborz Range, adjacent to Varārū, Sesang, Gol-e Zard and Mīānrūd, it is the highest point in the Middle East and the highest volcano in all of Asia. It is a potentially active volcano,[4] since there are fumaroles near the summit crater emitting sulfur, which were known to be active on July 6, 2007.[5]
The mountain is located near the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, in Āmol county, Māzandarān, 66 kilometres (41 miles) northeast of Tehran.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damavand

Iran is one of the most mountainous countries in the world. Mount Damavand at 5,671 m is not only the highest peak in Iran but also the highest volcano in the Middle East. In a clear weather the mountain is visible far from over 250 km away. Mt Damavand is difficulty almost the same as Mt Kilimanjaro (5892 m) in Tanzania and Mt Everest Base Camp (5380 m) in the Himalayan Mountain Range. The mountain and its surrounding areas are popular hiking, climbing, and in recent years are rapidly gaining popularity as skiing destinations. It has mild skiable slopes for descents up to 3000m downhill skiing – it is surly one of the world’s finest ski mountaineering places.

    Naqsh-e Rustam

Naqsh-e Rustam or Naqsh-e Rostam (in Persian: نقش رستم Naqš-e Rostam) is an archaeological site located about 12 km northwest of Persepolis, in Fars province, Iran. Naqsh-e Rustam lies a few hundred meters from Naqsh-e Rajab.
The oldest relief at Naqsh-i Rustam is severely damaged and dates to c. 1000 BC. It depicts a faint image of a man with unusual head-gear and is thought to be Elamite in origin. The depiction is part of a larger mural, most of which was removed at the command of Bahram II. The man with the unusual cap gives the site its name, Naqsh-e Rostam, "Picture of Rostam", because the relief was locally believed to be a depiction of the mythical hero Rostam.

Four tombs belonging to Achaemenid kings are carved out of the rock face. They are all at a considerable height above the ground.
The tombs are known locally as the 'Persian crosses', after the shape of the facades of the tombs. The site is known as salīb in Arabic (صليب), perhaps a corruption of the Persian word chalīpā, "cross". The entrance to each tomb is at the center of each cross, which opens onto to a small chamber, where the king lay in a sarcophagus. The horizontal beam of each of the tomb's facades is believed to be a replica of the entrance of the palace at Persepolis.
One of the tombs is explicitly identified by an accompanying inscription to be the tomb of Darius I the Great (c. 522-486 BC). The other three tombs are believed to be those of Xerxes I (c. 486-465 BC), Artaxerxes I (c. 465-424 BC), and Darius II (c. 423-404 BC) respectively. A fifth unfinished one might be that of Artaxerxes III, who reigned at the longest two years, but is more likely that of Darius III (c. 336-330 BC), last of the Achaemenid dynasts.
The tombs were looted following the conquest of the Achaemenid empire by Alexander the Great.

    .
No need to get angry! I know you're Iranian, so that's why I asked, since I'm curious. Iran is a big country, I think, so that's why I asked if you've been there I'm interested, that's all. It's kind of hard to find info about Bam as a non-Persian speaker, and all the sources I have found show me pictures of heavy destruction. (Like wikipedia: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...am_Citadel.jpg) Anyhow, you're right: the earthquake takes place far outside of EB's timeframe, so I will stop being off-topic
(O, and the Hunnebedden have nothing to do with your post, I just tried to contribute to the thread myself)

Those Achaemenid tombs are interesting too. I read that they were built above the ground because according to Zoroastrian tradition, you can't burry someone in the ground. (Hence why most people were actually buried in 'Towers of Silence')

again I'm not angry it's cool part of why I called you "Bro"

Your post did come across as a bit rude but English isn't your first language so I don't think you meant it like that.

This kind of comment isn't very help though:

We aren't holding a competition for "Who's got the best ancient relics", the wonders are relative to the region they are from and we need them for all of the map, so we don't want people to be put off posting their ideas for fear of them being belittled by others.

All the wonder suggestions posted were good, the reason no one has replied until now is that we are busy with other things (jobs/education/making EBII) so we can't always reply to everything straight away.

I didn't say you do have a competition please don't misunderstand me al I want to do is help I though that since there are only 3 wonders in all Iran in EB I (parsa, tom of cyrus , walls of hyrcania) I thought hey maybe I could suggest sth that may be usefull and intresting.

what is exactly the problem here as far as I know the EB team is huge you can't say that all of you are buisy at the same time.

For future reference, typing "ok" in full caps (eg OK) and having multiple question marks at the end makes you sound aggressive to an English reader.

You implied that Rinan's suggestion wasn't important compared to yours, calling it "some stones laying on top of each other". My point was that we don't want people comparing suggestions in that way as it will discourage others from posting their suggestions. The team will decide what wonders to put into the mod.

Well it isn't that big and most of the team don't regularly post on the TWC or even on public forums. And yes, it is possible for all of us to be busy, we have jobs, education and families that all take precedent over EBII work, which itself takes precedent over posting on the public forums.

no , I wasn't trolling him I thought that he is doing it to me since I misunderstood him , I thought he are saying that arge bam isn't a good suggestion because it's some how destroyed by an earthquik.

what I ment was that all of you can't be buisy AT THE SAME TIME.

but it doesn't matter I was just getting this feeling that nobody actually pays attention to this tread.

again as I pointed out all those thing you said like me posting agrassive or trolling other users and make fun od their suggestions , even if it seems so I didn't ment to be rude, thank you for realizing that the reason is my english

These wonders are quite intriguing, and I wonder whether all of them can even be fit into a game of this scope
What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?" If by "Liberal" they mean, as they want people to believe, someone who is soft in his policies abroad, who is against local government, and who is unconcerned with the taxpayer's dollar, then the record of this party and its members demonstrate that we are not that kind of "Liberal." But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."

Could the grave dolmens ( or hunebedden) in Northern Europe be used as well? There are hundreds of them in Germany, Netherlands and Denmark, and, especially in the Netherlands, lie in close proximity to eachother (the 50 remaining ones in the Netherlands are concentrated on a hilly spot, de Wolfsrug moraine). They're quite extensive and, given the Celtic re-use of Neolithic religious monuments, it's possible that the Germans would've treated these with the same kind of reverence.

Asia Minor - Pamukkale(or english name Cotton Castle)

Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. It is located in Turkey's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year.

The ancient Greco-Roman and Byzantine city of Hierapolis was built on top of the white "castle" which is in total about 2,700 metres (8,860 ft) long, 600 m (1,970 ft) wide and 160 m (525 ft) high. It can be seen from the hills on the opposite side of the valley in the town of Denizli, 20 km away.

Tourism is and has been a major industry. People have bathed in its pools for thousands of years. As recently as the mid-20th century, hotels were built over the ruins of Heropolis, causing considerable damage. An approach road was built from the valley over the terraces, and motor bikes were allowed to go up and down the slopes. When the area was declared a World Heritage Site, the hotels were demolished and the road removed and replaced with artificial pools. Wearing shoes in the water is prohibited to protect the deposits.

Not a suggestion, more a question: How well did the ancient population during EB´s timeframe knew even more ancient relicts?
Like the ruins of Ur and Uruk in southern Mesopotamia or the many cave paintings in the Franco-cantabrian region. Had they any relevance for the population in the 3rd century BC?

Well, I'm sure someone from Persia wouldn't know about cavepaintings in France, but some of the wonders listed were very important, and were well known, first that comes to mind is Mount Olympos.

    Yeah. Good question, will it?
Creating custom battle maps is very much possible, but there are some problematic issues that will need to be resolved. In short, yes, it is possible, but a custom battlemap would be required.
