Problems with patch 3.3 and hotfix

Whenever i install patch 3.3 then i try to start it by clicking the launcher and a message appears stating that it is a trojan horse or a virus or a tracking cookie or whatever and it shuts down. P.S. i am using a vista and have AVG free virus protection. Please Help

Go to this link http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=187756, and then look for the 3.x False-Positive Virus Fix. Click on that link and download the files, and that should fix it.

I have to go to school soon so i will get it after, but is the false positive download patch 3.3 and the hotfix? and thanks a lot the reply was fast.

ok i downloaded it and when i run the winRAR file and then i hit D for darkage it just closes and doesnt load the game, but when i try to extract the WinRaR file to the sicilian vespers mod folder it says access denied.....

Are you using windows vista? Extract the winRAR file to your desktop, and then copy it over into the modfolder for Chivalry II: Sicilian Vespers
