Curonians "AD 785-1050" [HELP]

Since this mod takes place in a similar area, would anyone here know anything about the Curonians between the years in the title? We will be including them in Wrath of the Norsemen, but would like as much information on them as we can get. Most importantly we are looking for someone to convert unit names from English to whatever we can get to be as close to their native language. Any help is very welcome!

Hello Vikingr,
I found some information about Curonians in my books. Those books are in lithuanian, so I translated and summarized the information:

Information from Alfredas Bumblauskas book:
Adam from Bremen in XI century talked about men from Curlandia: The Curonians are the most aggressive tribesmen in their lands [balts lands]. They have good horses to their chariots; they have a lot of gold and their villages are full of magicians and wise persons.

Information from Rima Baliukoniene book:
The Curonians was very rich tribe, because they controlled the trade of amber. They were good sailors. They made raids in Swedish and Danish lands. Sometimes Curonians robbed bells from Danish churches and take them to their lands. Then they made weapons with the iron from the bells.

These curonian's art pieces would have to be until the XII century, because in XIII century (1229-1242) Curlandia was occupied by the Order of Livonia. So, after XIII century, ancient curonian's traditions were mixed with samogitians and with latvian tribes. In conclusion, the best centuries for curonians were in X-XII centuries and the majority of archeological pieces of curonians that we find now, were from those centuries. Of course we also can find some pieces previous to this centuries, like this one, from VIII-IX centuries (but this was a decoration for women):

Great. I don't suppose you would know who were the rulers between 785 and 1050? Also, I was reading on wikipedia (not that it would be that accurate) that the language the Curonians spoke is extinct... So for unit names, what would be the closest we could possibly get to it?

About unit names , i found a fanatical linguist forum and there is some research on curonian gramar. So wrote me plz here unit names in english and i try to translate them.

About rulers, sadly there is no writen evidence yet founded about that time period rulers. All what we know comes from later times and those known names (most of them leaders) i already give you. So in random they can be close to needed result.

Also i propose to use some home land names as forenames wich can be taken from medieval tyme maps.

For instance : Sabeeks - from Bandava, or Galdiks - from Elsunga.

Here are some smaler place names from cronicles wich also can be used as forenames...

Thargolae, Osua, Langis, Venelis, Normis, Kiemala, Pygawas, Sarnitus, Riwa, Saccze, Edualia, Aliswanges, Ardus, Alostanotachos.

Also if you have problems with fonts and gramar signs on characters like this Tāwaīns, you can wrote it like Taawaiins.

Also intresting is the fact that best helmet founded from medieval times in Latvia teritory times is curonian one. And it is broken in ritual, becouse broken things goes with owner in to afterworld. There was two types of graves in that timescale you mod in curonia. Broken tools grave type and ritual burning grave wich shows scandinavian influence.

Notice here are showed baltic waved linen armor, it is heavy well protecting and it breathe so it can be used well in summer.
