Tell me about Necrons. I'm not really into the rest of it, but I dig Necrons. Please tell me everything about Necrons. :3

Though I have to say I did not like what they changed in the backstory when they did the new codex.
I like the new fluff better.
Rather then simply being mindless slaves, they now got personalities.
It is a way to give players more control over their own army and write their own fluff for their dynasty without worrying about people saying that it doesn't make sense.
If you want your dynasty to be like the old fluff then that's fine, would make a interesting backstory about how they remained loyal to the C'tan. And if you want your dynasty to be a peaceful one that only fights to defend their planet(or planets) then that's fine too, same if they were to be very aggressive and hellbent on conquest.
So only limit is the player's imagination and that's good.
As someone who always makes my own backstory for my armies and while Ward has written some horrible fluff, I can't bash Ward for what he did to the Necrons but will rather applaud him.
To me it feels like they are now just Tomb Kings in space. Plus C'tan are my favorite thing about Necrons.
Well they have always been TK in space tho due to the egyptian theme that they share. Still there is some difference.
For one TKs being undead which Necrons are not, TKs are quite passive, generally only do things in defence of their lands.
Necrons while can do the same thing if the player chooses, the overall theme of the book is that main goal for most dynasties is restoring their old empire, making most of them aggresive.
If anything GW simply embraced what Necrons always been in terms of theme which has really given them an identity.

Why are there no girl Necrons?
I have DARK CRUSADE but it's pretty hard and the graphics turn me off a bit. Are there any newer games or mods with Necrons in them?
Are there any movies or stuff with Necrons? :3
Nope Dark Crusade and Soul storm are the only games or media apperance they been in so far.
And necrons are gender-less atleast body-wise. Ctan didn't care much for the different forms.
Dang, are there any graphics mods for Dark Crusade?
Also, what architecture do the Necrons have, apart from those vault things and pyramids?
Chloe, they are damn machines!!!!!
Side note: If you have Dark Crusade try this Mod (best Mod Ever!): Purgation of Kaurava

If you want some nice girls you need to play Soulstorm: Dark Eldar Sadic Dominants and the Sisters of Battle, .... the Penitent Engine is a 'Must' .........
No, I want girl Necrons.
Do any of them have names? What sets apart those big ones with names like Brzaknash THE UNCLEAN LORD or something from the rank and file?
Half of them obviously used to be females (as the entire race were turned into Necrons), now they don't reproduce and all look the same, so it doesn't matter what gender they used to be, but some can still remember dully who/what they once were. The society was patriarchal however and therefore all of the special characters are considered/referred to as "he" and "him", (however this could be a by-product of their language) also their names are quite masculine if we take the gender lines we know about in ancient egyptian names which is what Necron names are based on. Inventing a Tomb Queen would be cool.
The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are so certain of themselves, but wiser people are full of doubts.

Chloe, my dearest friend, I understood your point but ... they are machines ... as to say that it's not easy finding some sexual characterization in a damn f...... machine!
Anyway searching, and looking better here and there ..... something might be found about the toasters sex appeal .....
Am I the only one who doesn't like the new Ancient Egyptians in space theme that use immortal star-gods like they some sort of Pokemon?
