Graphic Terms

Hi all!

Seeing that there were plenty of new guys that find it a hard time understanding the Graphic terms, I'm on order of Master Y to create a 'word list' of the terms.

Although I don't know all terms and don't have time to make a explanation for all, so I ask you members of this community to contribute with the term and explanation in this thread.

Graphic Terms:

Render: As used around here: A pic wich has been cut out of it's background
Other: When someone makes 3d model you he can make a screenshot with a plain background. This is called rendering

Stock: (Free) images you can find on the web wich are free to use in you works.

BG: Background

Airbrushing: Removing pimples, etc. from a face/body.

Blending: Using different pictures in a project, and make it fit with eachother so the pic becomes a whole.

Inverting: Set something to the opposite of it. (so set something to the opposite color "white>Black" or with an selection you select everything witch you didn't select)

A vector is a scalable graphic, which doesn't lose its quality when scaled up or down.

Forgot to update this thing.. Will go trough it and make a fine list of it, and then who knows, maybe a sticky on the main GW page.
