Stick in Civ/Sim-city style city building (optional, of course). Ports of Call style trading. An Empire Earth style "through many eras". An Assassins Creed style game where one can (optionally) choose to control assassins in their missions, giving a greater chance of success. The friendly, characterful interface of my old friend Age of Mythology. You may now have begun to realise that my dream Total War game, constructed from every game I could stuff in without going properly mad (and many I couldn't), is still very much a dream.
