Do you think they would fit in with the modern Warhammer 40K setting or do they still seem a bit comical and silly looking?

Just supposing they did and weren't all eaten by Tyranids.
But you should see how Space Marines looked back then as well.
They were left out around the same time as GW started make the setting really very serious rather than a tongue and cheek version of WFB in space.
Squats never existed.
Would make sense for them to have never existed if they ever get around to doing something with the Demiurg.
GW clearly made a new Squat miniature there.
Incorrect. There never was a Squat miniature. What you are seeing is merely a white picture in the shape of a square.
I don't see any Squats.
*Arbites squad knocks on cpdwane's door...since noone answers they break it in - after dragging him out of the bathroom the Proctor reads*
"cpdwane, in HIS most glorious justice, you are hereby found guilty of the following charges:
§1 Believing in the existence of squats and propagating said lies
§2 Impersonating an Inquisitor
§3 Stirring civil unrest and breaking the Imperial peace
You are sentenced to death, effective immideatly"
*blam*
"Nothing to see here citizens, move along, nothing to see here....especially no squats."
Squats have to be the gayest idea.
Just Dwarves in space.
I wish they'd take ratlings out of the Imperial guard too, they're just hobbits in space.
