Stonehenge
In ancient times...
Hundreds of years before the dawn of history
Lived a strange race of people... the Druids
No one knows who they were or what they were doing
But their legacy remains
Hewn into the living rock... Of Stonehenge
Scotland Vs. Northumbria
Tadhg, a captain of the Scots prepares his men for the defence of Stonehenge. Here he faces the Northumbrian Captain Sigeberht. Although the Northumbrians are better armed, his men are confident.
The plan is simple: The Left will run quickly and form to the left of the stones, while the right will run o form on the right. In this way they will use the stones as a barrier, effectively cutting the Northumbrian army in half. The Warbands and milita will hold both wings. The Celtic Warriors on the Left wing (and the Arras warriors on the right) will then move behind the main battle line and flank the Northumbrians. Next the Celtic Berserkers on the Left will circle fully around the Northumbrians and charge into their rear, ideally to break the Northumbrians fighting on the left. After this the left wing will encircle the right and they will be slaughtered.
Tadhg's men are defiant in the face of the enemy, but how many men and how ready are the Northumbrians?
Sigeberht's men emerge from the woods. A twinge of fear runs down the Scots' backs as they spot the loyal Northumbrian Ealdormen and Thegn's in the full panoply of war.
