    Default Norman Invasion Patch 1.2

    The 1.2 patch has been created for all those on version 1.0 or 1.1

    As with any patch, do not expect old saved games to work (or work properly).

    Later today (19th March 2009) the EXE and RAR builds will be updated to include these changes, and so this patch will become redundant. Only apply it if your build is version 1.0 or 1.1.

    The full list of changes are thus:

    Mercenary Housecarls armour rating fixed
    Jomsvikings can now form tortoise-arch; voice file now recoded back in
    Celtic peasants now properly unavailable
    Scots cannot now recruit Mercenary Higlanders; they can now recruit Mercenary Longbowmen
    Norse faction-selection map corrected
    Firing sound fixed for infantry skirmishers
    Battlemap freeze fixed
    Minor edit to event titles to correct punctuation
    Minor edit to building descriptions to correct typos
    backdrop.tga version updated to 1.2
    campaign script tweaked to give Normans more potential in expansion (as AI)
    Norman diplomatic error corrected
    Mercenary kerns given correct fire sound

    Thanks for the ongoing support. Installing atm. Just a question: Do you expect many more bugs to get fixed? Is there another patch in planning?

    We believe all critical bugs have been fixed at this point, so there shouldn't be any patches soon. If something else critical is discovered, it will be fixed asap. If not, there might be another patch at a later date, fixing and minor issues that come up until that time, but it's not certain.
