Hello,
you can use every version since 1.5, but I prefer 1.9 with Alex. It is the best UI in battle.

Maybe some of you recognised: I´m from Germany. My English is not as such as good. But I hope you understand me and what I want to know.
My question:
How did you do the thing with the legions? I tried to do this on my RomeTW Vanilla Version but it failed.
Could you help me please?
And if it is in a wrong thread - please displace it to the right one.

Is there any way to still download RS 1.5, or is 1.6 the only one available? And will copying the R:TW and BI folders and downloading RS onto those prevent R:TW and BI from breaking?

RS1.6 was simply RS1.5 with the final hot fixes applied and the vegetation updated. There were some minor bugs that the development team were aware of that was the main reason why there is a RS1.6.

So, if you want to play the RS1.5 campaign just use RS1.6.

Copying the R:TW and BI folders and installing RS onto them will only break R:TW and R:TW BI for that copy of the install. Download the mod somewhere else and then install it onto the copied folder.

Your original R:TW or R:TW BI install will not be affected.

Basicly the same as Rome Total War, if you can run that then you can run Roma Surrectum. Though the better your computer is the better it'll handle the game ofcourse

i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to install surrectum i have rome 1.5 version but i have the game installed on daemon tools so i don;t have the disk does that matter???

You're asking in the Roma Surrectum 1.6 area, that is the old version. Ask in the technical forums on the main site.

Also, not sure what daemon tools is, however if it involves any non-disk version other than steam (ie a crack or copy in any way), your thread will be closed instantly, just so you know.

You choose the Battles option in the laucjer, choose Rome to play as Rome.

hi guys, i just found a hidden resource in EDB: cohors, which resource is not present in descr_regions textfile, so it's like is not used enymore... question: can be replaced?

Can you post this in the Main tech help threads. Megaupload is obviously not available and we definitely can't do much about that. Filefront probably needs a new copy uploading. I'm not around this week so can't do it, but post this there and mention I said to post there. It will get more visibility than here.

So i was just wondering about the links i followed for the mod: i was only 1.6 and not with the patch? correct?

As the Greek city states everything worked perfectly for quite a few turns. Then i got to Sparta- so i sieged to the city and now when i try to enter the 3d combat map i get some random texture error. first one was something about Carthage peltists..in sparta..right, and i do not remember the other.

Would this be something the the patch might fix or will i have to sim through it and hope the Spartans don't massacre my Athenians?

Here was the error i repeatedly get with the Sparta city battle in the loading screen then instant crash:

but one thing, however, is not so great
it's the name "Roma surrectum"
i don't know if you've figured it out already but it should be "Roma surrecta"
"Roma", latin for "Rome" is in fact a she, feminine, and "surrectum" is an adjective given to neutral nouns, the "it"-s
so "Roma surrecta", "the arisen Rome"
it's good that you chose latin for the name but try to use it correctly

Been mentioned before, and if you look around there is comment on it. Making comments here will usually fall on deaf ears as this is the older version.
