No. Look at you capital for a building with a scroll icon. The description for that building should have all info about how to trigger the reform.

I didn't play RTW a long time, last was RS 1.5.So i decide to install 1.6.And man does it feel good.... Syracyse hoplites..... mmmm I simply love them guys. But after 3-4 battles, i load up the battlemap, and it's got lake in the middle O.o. This new terrain is very refreshing, made my battle very interesting, there was also a supporting army for the enemy, so i had to split up and guard my rear, and I used one of the banks to secure flanks. I love this game!!!

How do I make the RS shortcut an application? When I go into the game file and try to launch the game with the .exe it gives me an error. I want to add RS to my Steam Games list, but it will not accept shortcuts, like the one created on the desktop upon installation. So is there a command that can be tagged onto the .exe to fix the error and have the game launch properly?

When I start the RomeTW-BI application in the file, I get an "error loading mount database" that happens when I start it up, before any screen appears.

You can't play BI if you have RS installed, this is stated quite clearly in the download instructions.

I know that and I don't want to play BI, I want to launch RS through an application, not a shortcut, which is what was put on my desktop. You can only launch applications through Steam, so I wanted to know how to make RS launch through an application/.exe instead of a shortcut.

I thought I should let you know.

I put a spy into a Free city, and then right clicked on their "House Rules" icon. The game totally crashed. Is that intentional?

New unit cards for a few factions militia hoplite and hoplite units, they still use the default vanilla one.

Also, new main menu and campaign and battle music, it would enhance gameplay.

You do realize that RS1.6 is not being added to anymore right? RS2 is related to RS1.6 only in the name they share.

You can't launch RS through any other application but the Rome - Total War.exe as both other exes require command line arguments to load RS properly. Steam allows you to create shortcuts to their applications, copy the command line from the shortcuts the exe uses and paste them at the end of the command line in the steam shortcuts.

RS 1.6 will become RS II? Or will RS II be for another game?

As I said they totally unrelated and only share a name.

    Hi there!
I installed RS 1.6 and the 1.6a patch, but when I press the RS BI-Button the desk turns black for a second and the RS button apears in the taskbar and that's all.
I have Win7 (and any other mod is running) and I installed RS into 'C:\Program Files (x86)\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War' where the exe-files are...
My shortcut is linked to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -nm -show_err -mod
That should be O.K., or not?

    HEEELP!

I don't have a screenshot of this just now, I may be able to get one later.

It's not a serious problem and may have been fixed in 2.0 - With Eastern stone walls, when pounding a gate with onagers some of the shots will end up going right through the gateway walls without changing the damage level to the wall. It only happens with Eastern stone walls and only on the gateway. It's not a major problem though in one case all stones went right through and I couldn't destroy the gateway but a wall can be destroyed it is just gateways.

Is this a known issue? I can probably get a screenshot next time I take an Eastern city, I don't recall seeing this mentioned previously, anyone else seen this?

Oh, I just realised, this is with 1.5, I don't recall seeing it in 1.6 but I haven't played 1.6 much as my campaign in 1.5 is so near to completion. I know I saw it last night with Damascus, using BI.
