    MORE DETAILS
Being the mod in its Platinum version from months ago in the final phase of creation of campaigns, and due to personal circumstances of diverse nature, made by interrupting the final phase, it has been decided, after speaking members of the team, currently busy with other matters, which will try to release as soon as possible in this version. Maybe all details wont be perfect in the releasing..
The mod will, as planned from the outset, 20 factions playable in battles and various campaigns: Two Roman factions, Carthaginians, Italics, Gauls, Cisalpin Gauls, Greek cities, Ilergets, Edetans, Turdetanias, Bastetanians, Oretans, Carpetans, Celtiberians, Cantabrians, Asturs, Callaici, Vacceian, Lusitanians and Numidians.
System of combat in the battles, with which we avoid: overly slow battles and sieges tedious and interminable (although it must be recognized that for pitched battles and multi the previous system was very realistic). It has been taken into account, in addition to the gameplay, the historicity. Reviewing sources historical, come to the conclusion that the Legion and Roman legionaries was the stronger army in that time, more than cavalry and other infantry in combat.
ITW has developed for the heavy infantry, especially to Roman legionaries, maximum power in frontal combat. This does not mean that they are indestructible, as they were not historically: If attack it insistently with projectiles (especially arsonists) while having no casualties begins to fall slowly their morale. From the flanks and rear mortality and falling morale increases, especially with projectiles but also with fast cavalry repeated attacks plan loading and withdrawal. Of course if you flank roman infantry and surround also reduce thir moral, etc. Evidence of cost of troops and benefit in combat have been made, and he is thought to any faction, knowing play with his troops option to victory with the same money.
As thought the version campaigns and in doing so realistic in this regard, have changed some stats, to take place, for example to the historical reality of that celtic and gauls troops have more cold tolerance and better combat in forests and snow, Carthaginian troops and numidians tolerate heat better and better in desert combat; and all troops of heavy armor are very good in defense, but get tired if you force the marchers.
With this has been achieved that the battles are longer and more realistic than in the original Vanilla game, but considerably less than the ITW version gold. This makes that solving one battle epic of which are going to give in the campaigns took an average of half an hour or more at normal speed. This gives the advantage that in addition to being more realistic you can savour and enjoy more (we all know that, in general, the pleasant, if it can be extended somewhat in time, much better).
Due to an incompatibility of moment of base not known with this new version of the ITW, discontinued the development of a new version sounds better to the previous. On the other hand, all the followers of the mod were not agreed or liked the sounds change, so that for two reasons, has decided to leave the original sounds of the RTW.

CAMPAIGNS BASED IN WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN SEA MAP
There will be two maps of campaign:
Map of Western Mediterranean Sea (map of ITW gold), which reflects the Iberian area, South of Gaul, all Italy and North Africa, reflecting the territory that was historically transcendent to the beginning of the Roman Republic and until the Second Punic War between two superpowers of this time: Rome and Carthage.
This map will have the possibility of playing the imperial campaign, without pursuing any historic development, except the all against all, without historical scripts, settings, and nothing of the sort. This please lovers of the strategy basis, create Empires gradually on the basis of the economy, etc. Because of the extent of the territory, will be only three Iberian factions, three peninsular Celts, two gauls, two Roman (when necessary and always allied, if not just one roman faction), Greek Colonies, Carthaginians, Italics and Numidians.
Apart from this there will be historical basis provincial campaigns, set in the Second Punic War:
A Roman campaign, in which the human will have many provinces and territories but that will have to manage well to make an effective war the other superpower of the time, Carthage (recreated by AI and aided by scripts on time). Violating Carthage the Ebro River Treaty signed at the end of the first Punic War with the conquest of Saguntum (Arse), the Punic War begins, and the human will to follow targets of war.
A Carthaginian Campaign, in which the human, controlling many provinces, must try to emulate Hannibal and lead an army through the Alps, before crossing the Gallic tribes that may or may not be hostile, with the aim of intimidating to Rome on their own turf. There will be scripts which guide and queer historically. There will surprising scripts for historical adjustements. Team has made many test for to improve AI in this case.
Campaigns of the Peninsular Iberian factions, in which the human will have as objective take the two superpowers, invasive, taking advantage that they are at war. There will also be another campaign separately for factions of Iberian Peninsula Celtic ethnicity, with a similar, in addition to extend something territorially target.
On the previous version released in this map, we comment that the scripts have been polished by adding new and improving existing ones, in addition to debug some bugs which have been. This, joined with the new combat system, the battles are far more playable and more interesting, does that prove to be much more interesting, and the human can be put in the shoes of Hannibal and Scipions, and feel the doubts which they felt in their day.

Campaigns with exclusive Map of Ancient Iberia
In these campaigns, for obvious reasons, not involving the factions: Numidia, Italics ; and will have a limited role Greeks Cities and Gauls. To change there will be Factions (more representative) of Iberia, both of Celtic culture as Iberian culture as well as. Of course, 1-2 Roman factions and Carthaginians will have representation.
As another map, there will be a campaign imperial of all against all, because it is considered that there are people who only likes this variety of the game's campaign, and which has the advantage of equal opportunities and not be required to follow a historical goal, except to seize more and more and conquer lands.
On the other hand, and this is new, there will be multiple provincial campaigns which reflect prominent historical events that took place in Iberia-Hispania since the Second Punic War (when Roman Republic, in its infancy, only consisted of Italy, some mediterranean islands, and a part of Iberia) until the beginning of the Roman Empire, when it came to power Octavian (Caesar Augustus) and completed the conquest of Hispania with the famous and epic cantabric-asturs Wars.
Then they will recreate these events. Here the economic strategy goes into the background and is reflect historical reality, besides trying to get eye candy and epic as far as possible battles:
    - Second Punic War: with the possibility of bringing the Roman side, the Carthaginian side or any other faction Iberian or Celtic. There will be surprises in the script.
    - Second phase of the Roman Conquest: Defeated Carthage already eliminated, and brought almost all the Iberian peoples. They are Celtiberian-lusitan Wars, which developed a refusing-independence war against the Roman Republic by these two peoples, with the support of some other factions. Human player can choose mainland side with these two factions allied against the Roman machinery, emulating Viriatus and his scourge of Rome; or the refusing of Numantia, whose wars were the bane of soldiers in Rome and made even adapt the calendar (This changes have reached to our days). Who likes to carry to Rome faction also will require that possibility. The objective of the mainland paeninsular factions is to resist to Rome's annexation. By means of scripts has tried to improve the AI as best as possible. This work has been particularly complicated since that has been Rome weakened spontaneously in its expansion if did not help you (even has been necessary to create two Roman factions, which represent the two provinces that existed, Citerior and Ulterior.) However for the human and to increase the challenge, was intended to leave a single province. AI roman armies, many times, emulates a legion as it was historically.
    - Sertorian wars: Towards the end of the Roman Republic, with Numancia and Lusitania, more or less dominated, erupted a confrontation of ideas in Rome, between the optimate party, representing the Senate and its democratic power, and the popular party, which theoretically supported the Plebs and wanted to end the alleged oligarchy of the Senate. Mario, maximum representative of the populars, was neutralized by his opponent Silla, who proclaimed himself provisional dictator of Rome.
In Iberia, Sertorius and its supporters (Perpenna, Hirtuleyo, etc), rebelled against this, exploding the First Roman Civil War. Also, apparently, they claimed establish a new Rome in Iberia, with own Senate, etc., what wasn't the Real Roman Senate and the optimate party respond and sent legions, entering appearance Pompey. Sertorius had significant paeninsular supports. It has been recreated this historical context, and may select to carry the Sertorian Coalition (Celtiberians and Lusitanians fought allied with Sertorian Romans againts optimate roman party), Optimate Faction (Pompey, etc) optimate, or even lead to factions not aligned in this war...
It has been made, more or less, that AI use often armies against human that imitate a Legion, with their auxiliary troops, shells, cavalry, cohorts, sometimes some machines, etc
    - Second Roman Civil War: Iberia was a crucial stage, where it was decided that political system would prevail in Rome: The Senate, represented by Pompey; or based on the former Popular Party representing Caesar. After crossing Julius Caesar the Rubicon River and militarily entering Rome, the Senate and its supporters went into exile, with support of faithful legions. Pompey sought refuge in Greece; but the most important military force of their loyals was in Iberia. Caesar first moved to Iberia before even pursue Pompey, the Ilerda campaign taking place. This event is also reflected in the mod, and can be the Caesar or Pompeian Romans. Each will have their own features, but has been more or less tried to be balanced with any human can get the win.

Two years later, and Magnus Pompey already eliminated , it happened a propompey revolt on a large scale in Hispania, which led his two sons, which was evident in the Ulterior province. This second part of the second civil roman war was historically more bloody than the first. The human player, in this context, can choose one of the sides.
    - Cantabrian-Asturs Wars (third phase of roman conquest of Iberia): At the beginning of the imperial age was an indomitable and unexplored territory by the civilized people, above which broke the ambition Roman, with a campaign extended over months and years, and whose tickets History would always remember. It has been recreated this historical context being the objective of the Coalition cantabrian-astur resist a few turns, and Rome's conquering. It has tried to be affordable and funny, maintaining historical accuracy as far as possible (provided that allows it the AI). Here the land factor is very important, to better combat in winter and with bad weather conditions, ambushes, guerrilla tactics, trying to overcome always number, etc... (of course, many winter turns, 24 turns for a year (scripts), etc).
We can´t establish date of release (sorry). We will try to release as soon as possible and that it comes out more perfect, but we cann´t give exact day or week. It is necessary to make to some texts, pulish some more details, traslate to english, etc....and there are obligations of real life and other hobbies too.
We must remember specially to “parents of ITW” who has made this possible: The Big Maestre Monkwarrior, Idíbil, Karmipoka, as well as my modest contribution.
Also to all those who have collaborated in its various aspects. Units (Cesar, etc...), texts, version released of sounds, etc, and specially to MULTIPLAYER CLAN CELTIBEROS.
Gratitude to CA for this wonderful game (RTW) and its possibilitie for re-creating History.
Greetings to fans. We think that waiting will deserve the penalty

There will be some campaigns in the setting of Iberian Resistence to roman conquest. Caton consul directed legions for to fight againts iberian rebellions in 195 bc (ilergets, turdetanians and bastetanian people. Human iberian player will have to survive some turns, human roman player will have to conquer lands and give "roman pax" in some years controlling resources and money.
It has been investigated a special command in script for rational roman refoircements from Italy (legions)...

    It will be continued..............
