Bizarre: I've lost all AoR troops. After 1240, I can't recruit a single AoR unit anywhere. What's up with that? Should I reinstall some files?

Don't know if someone already reported this but after I installed hotfix from 21. march Scotland banner is replaced with red lion on yellow shield and I thought it was Spain. Also I can't start Late Era campaign with Timurids, it freezes on HRE turn and just hangs there.

this is the more historical royal flag for scotland - the blue flag with silver saltire cross is the cross of St Andrew, who is the patron saint of scotland.

I can't recruit General's Bodyguards. At all. Is that a bug, because I need generals...

IIRC it's not a bug but a design choice. I could be wrong though.

Okay. In that case, how do I get a general?

I don't want family members, they stop my actual family having children and cause all manner of problems in succession. I want recruitable generals like the AI gets that can lead armies without causing problems in politics.

You need family members to populate the family tree to have children.

As I said, I'm pretty sure recruitable generals were cut.

If you attach the log it might be easier to see what the problem is.

There's a mod that allows you to recruit generals. Or maybe a guide on how to make them recruitable.

Ya, I fixed the issue of the jihad by using the move_Character thing, however for those who have their consoles disabled it might pose a problem. Either the river needs to allow ships to move within, or disable ships from entering at all lawl.

As for the crown for my king, it still hasn't worked unfortunately. He has been in Jerusalem for over 5 turns, have tried moving him from settlement, back to Jerusalem and still no avail. Unless im a n00b and its running a prior 2.0 faction crown mod.

Playing as lithuania I noticed the same castle and city models as west/north factions is used in battlemap. Is this intended? SS 6.1 latest RC/RR used, early campaign.

Last time I checked, 1450 campaign was but a placeholder for people to use High era units. I think the campaign is buggy, since it's being replaced with 1370.

Edit: discovered a text bug - large section of Roman ancilliaries appears to be missing. I've copied and pasted over the relevant entries, but there are still at least three ancilliares I've found that have entires in eda, but no entires in export_ancilliaries. I've searched through the necessary files, even going through BtR's text files, but I can't track down what they could be.
    Any ideas, anyone?
I also noticed that Papal names in names.text still have regnal numbers attached, which I've amended.

(I'll upload the tweaked files for ya PB, when you give me a shout)

Try running FILE_TASKS2.bat or remove map.rwm files - AOR troops will disappear if something is messed up with hidden resources.

Timurids shouldn't be playable in that campaign, that will indeed cause a CTD.

OK send them through thanks. No idea how some ancilliaries could have been missed, but those files have been mashed and worked over so many times its not entirely surprising.
