    I wonder if it's a poland-related problem; my french game (which didn't get as far) hasn't crashed.
    I have the same issue, and with poland too. Tested a custom battles with the same units for me and the enemy than in my campaign and it didn't crash ; I think Cairo is the problem...

    Sure just choose any faction then on the campaign screen press the conlose button then type in "control jerusalem" then u are th KOj.
    End turn and your them, this way u can also choose any other faction u want , just check the Decr.strat file for faction names. Type the same faction again to put it back under AI control.

    i know some may think this isnt a serious post but I really just want to say that i hope the music is put back to normal, so that we can change it without losing the other sounds...the main problem i think was half of the sound files simply werent there, like only vanilla music showed up, for example, any music that had been added to the Compilation wasnt actually listed...

    Playing as the Roman Empire and get a CTD every time I try to fight myself on the battlefield, have no problem with other factions, just the Romans.

    I built the Gunsmith, but I can't recruit any Bombards from it. I right clicked on the description of the next building in the series, the Cannon Foundry (I think) and it only said that it can upgrade ship cannons, without listing cannons it allows you to recruit. Is this a bug? Do I need additional buildings in the city before I can recruit cannons?

    Nvm, apparently I need some Blast Furnace event.

    Why does the Gunsmith become available as soon as gunpowder is discovered if the cannons from it take another hundred years? I suppose it could represent the attempts made to use gunpowder for warfare, which only come to fruition a hundred years later. Ok, now that I rationalized it, I'm ok with it.

    Is there a list of all the events and their dates?

    Hmm, I found one in the RR description file. It says Bombards become available around 1250-1260. Mortars appear around 1348. Has the information in that file been changed?

    Are you running any background programs you could close down?
    How much memory does your graphics card have?
    (and how much ordinary RAM on your system?)
    This mod seems a hungry beast when it comes to memory.

    I'm having the same problem that Selerz is having. However, the reasons that I am having CTD's are pretty clear I think: I have TATW installed and I left BGR 'checked' when I installed SS 6.1. I can run battles fine, with all the proper RR/RC features, but the campaign CTDs immediately after the load screen. I didn't realize at the time of installation that both of these would be issues.

    Can SS be reinstalled simply by deleting the SS mod folder and running the installer again? I'm definitely going to have to do a clean install.

    Actually that error message has nothing to do with memory. It's because the game cant find the proper texture for a strat map model. RR/RC mustn't be installed properly.

    Any advice for what part of RR/RC didn't get installed correctly, Ceasar Clivus? I'm having a very similar problem and I just associated it with having TATW and mistakenly checking BGR in the SS 6.1 installer. I'm really hoping for a simple fix.

    It'd be either the data\model_strat folder or the Stainless_Steel_6\data\model_strat folder. Try reinstalling RR/RC again. And make sure that you run the tasks.bat after.
