White label Alexander
What is the difference with White Label games?
I just got Alex from Amazon and it will not let me install it because I dont have a prior version of Rome installed, although I have Rtw Gold installed from D2D.
Why is it not working, did I just waste my money?

Re: White label Alexander
I think you need a hard copy of RTW. I mean, for example with Zeus: Master of Olympus if you buy a "SoldOut" copy of the game you can't patch it. It's just a frustrating little problem. You're not missing out on much anyway. Once i'd gotten through the battles (which I admit were great) I stopped playing it.

Re: White label Alexander
Well, that's part of the problem of downloaded games.
If you have Alexander it's worth using the exe alone as it does improve the game. It's possible to use the White Label with other store bought versions.
I did buy RTW, RTW BI and RTW Alexander for use on my laptop while I work away from home. I also have used the White Label RTW Alexander with RTW Gold.
