Yeah..And now i fight the Scots and they are piece of cake.I am very close to take the Scots objectives city.And then when my armys takes the last city of the Normans i will go for the Welsh.The Welsh and the Scots armys they don't have the quality and the numbers of the Normans.I remember the strungle and the thinking i did to win the 11-12 Huge Norman armys...Good times.

Very real. The English have so many settlements (and therefore so much tax money, trade, population, etc), and the game mechanics are so hardcoded, that if we didn't give them this debt, they would beat Normans by turn 10 *easily*. I wish we had the option of recruitment pools, like Kingdoms, but we don't, so the only thing we can do to restrict recruitment is kill a faction's treasury.

You just have to play defence until your financial situation improves and you can recruit fresh troops. It's a different campaign to usual TW campaigns, agreed.

Ok- this tim I lowered difficulty levels, and startd at -360000-lmao. I understand why, Bossman . I will drive the Norman dogs back into the sea.

I've got the same problem, I had this mod on my old computer, it worked fine, now however it comes up with the same error mssge.
Any ideas on how to fix?

Hello Everyone,
Just want to say excellent mod I can't wait to start playing it properly however there is one small problem.
I've started a campaign with the normans and all of the army strength banners disappear, the only icon above the armies are the country icon, I have since tried every other nation and the same thing happens.

Ok, that is weird... Try pressing J to hide the banners and then once more to restore them and see if the problem persists.

If it does, do you get any error messages when existing the game? And can you upload your NI/data/models/textures folder please?

Nope no error messages, will try your suggestion and upload the folder

here it is, and for info pressing j on and off doesn't change it, they banners stay invisible

The textures seem fine. If the model was missing, then there would be an error report...

Have you installed NI on a clean installation? Both RTW and BI display banners fine?

I've tried to install this mod twice now, but when I click on the icon, I keep getting the reply "Total War/Rome TW-BI.exe is not a valid Win32 application. I'm not very computer literate, so if I can get some input on how to remedy this, that'll be great. Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "bytes free from 654 MB". Rome TW-BI.exe is a single file, it has an absolute size, not a capacity...

Is your "Rome TW-BI.exe" 0 bytes in size? if so, which folder is it, the main RTW directory where "RomeTW.exe" also is?
