My Sounds aren't playing

Hiya people, i have replaced the Musket sounds with my own files.
they are all the same files jus different sounds, so no new files in the folder.

Im not really sure what to do? I have re-packed all the sounds and have got the .idx and so forth files.
but there are no sfx in game at all.

am i missing sertain files?

in my mod folder i have
SFX.dat
SFX.idx
Voice3.idx
events.dat
Music.dat
Music.idx
Voice123........(.idx,.dat)
audio.idx
audio.dat
events.idx
Effect_evt folder


In my original install folder, i only have all the .dat and .idx files, nothing else???? any help would be great

It includes all the text files needed to edit every sound in the game.
