Why not use the twcenter uploads section? You can edit description and upload new versions as needed without having to update the url every time.

About the .exe size - This is one of the reasons I prefer Java. Anyone who uses a browser already has the runtime environment for it and Java class files are tiny. For example, my EDB validator, which is several thousand lines of code, is only a 36.2 KB rar (74.6 KB uncompressed).

Yes I think I'll use that (TWC upload) next time

How do you use this? I tried on an EDB (I put it in the same place as the "data" folder - ie: inside my modfolder) but when I tried to multiply by 3, it set all the costs to 0...

That should be the right place...

    What factor did you use?
(and what field? "Multiply with..." or "add up to building costs"?)

If the value goes below zero, then it will convert that to 0 (I don't think you can/want negative costs in EDB )

I have a question. For instance, if you multiply all costs with 0.25, and one of the costs is 330, then you'd get 82.5, right ? Does this cause any errors ?

no, it will change that to 82 without decimals. (it doesn't give a round number (which would be 83), but it simply strips the .n off, resulting in 82)

    Ah, that's great

    I already suspected it though

I tried to multiply building costs by 3 (also tried 4). The edb came out with all costs set to 0
Adding cost of "2" simply set all costs to 3. Weird

I tried with units and it works just fine.

Also, all your older versions are gone, btw

hmm odd... it does work for me. I wouldn't know why it doesn't work for you...

I know the other links are dead, so I think I'll delete them... (not much use in an older version anyway)

Is there any way to have this alter just unit upkeep, rather than recruitment costs?
