Shiverglade is the most pretty one by far, but I really like the view of "The Hunt" and "The raid" reminds me of how to make screenshots without first editing your graphics till you got a Crysis. The horseman bumbing into the house kind of spoiled it for me. My vote goes to "The hunt", but nice screenshots all! xD Awesome!
Well in his defense he saw someone standing out front of the house, but just asoon as he rode up the man ran inside!
But Shiverglade is cool, makes me want to play D&D or NWN or something.
For me it was Gothic 2 and The Witcher... Yea, I had the feeling too. I am really curious about the HDR used in Shiverglade.
The reason the bumped-horseman in The Raid spoiled it (for me) is because I mainly liked the movement of the scene, if you know what I mean. That particular horseman spoiled this.
Thanks for hosting this!
I think not. Those settings have some options enabled that aren't in mine. But it might...
Ok guys I'll ask this here since I can't get a straight answer anywhere else, let's say I'm a total newb and have never heard of HDR, where can I find a decent explanation of how to install one and which mods/settings do you recommend or are out there?
Thanks for any infos
See this http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.p...tml#msg1040537 . And whole thread.
uh... that thread confuses me more...
This is a nice little self-contained package by Zaro/Italiano (same person, though I believe he goes by Italiano on TWC). Basically, you extract the HDR files into your M&B root directory, and then when you start up the game, the bloom effect will occur (higher contrast...you'll know it when you see it).
The settings for the HDR mod is contained in a file called "enbseries.cfg". Changing the settings produces a different effect. Tinkering with the values can either make your game look picture-perfect, or a big green vomity mess. I posted my "enbseries.cfg" higher up in the thread (to give you an idea of what it looks like + the values you can change). For the most part, though, you wont be able to make sense of what the values mean. As a result, there are a set of modified .cfg's made by Taleworlds forum-goers, which most people use. I believe Zaro's HDR download contains a few of these alternate .cfg's.
To turn the HDR mod on or off, you press Shift+F12.
Thanks guys!
I use a different version. It's called Soft-HDR. In it's normal enbseries it's pleasant-bright at daylight and almost black at night. My own enbseries it's darker, so sunsets and sunrises look extremely brown. The effect of the Vanilla enbseries is very subtle, and since it creates a sort of 'Glow' it's hard to see on a picture. Still, I found a nice comparison I once uploaded to my Imageshack. Here you go:
[[Damn, I cant add tags? I can only directly images... And the window is like 200 x 200 pixels, so I can't navigate. And to make things even worse, I cannot get my curser to bellow the image so I have to write upwards. (This here is what I wrote last). No offence meant to the owners, but this forum is fail]]
