Sorry to resurrect a dead thread but it's the most relevant thing i could find.
I have tried to port some Historical Battles from Vanilla Rome and Alexander into a mod-folder, by directly editing the descr_battle of each battle.
Some of these worked like the Siege of Sparta or the Battle of Travia. I understand i cannot edit battles without map.wfc like the battle of Carrhae
(due to the fact that the mod uses a different map than vanilla).
The problem is that some battles that were supposed to work (like Cynocephalae or Chaeronia ) give me a CTD the moment i press the start battle button.

I need some advice here.
Im trying to enable the battle editor for a mod, but it is not working. The target line is correct, the mod lauchs ok, but i dont get the editor option afterwards. Any idea wy? thanks for any help.

Hi I was just wondering if you knew how to add frontend movies like those shown in Alex; they are movies which play on the Historical battle menu screen that gives the player a brief insight?
I was wondering as I plan to add these into my mod.
