That looks amazing!
indeed. Holy Cow....
:O...thats what i call a realistic Celtic army...the fog and everything seemst to blend perfectly. Can you tell me which other aspects of the weather can you modify besides the fog?
Maybe the rain, dust or something else??
Most things to do with lighting with certain weather conditions, sky and lighting colour and so on. You could tweak happily for years!
Here's how the deep forest looks in the fog - also some updates to the rock textures:
Awesome screenshots!

thats a very big downside in snowy environments i think. Just looks neat watching them slaughter each other in grassy surroundings
Will there be any forests / woodland areas in the game that are any thicker than those we're currently being shown?
Also keen to see how the arid eastern / south eastern mediterraneum environments look!
Only dream I ever have. Is it the surface of the Sun?
Everytime I shut my eyes, it's always the same.
At the moment the Alpine forest is the thickest.
I've yet to start tweaking the semi-arid environments further, although this is how the semi-arid one looks at present (this particular environment is largely for the moutainous parts of Asia Minor and Persia - Taurus and Zagros mountain ranges, in particular - that get snow in winter).....it needs more shrubs and trees. Trees will largely be Quercus cerris (Turkey Oak), pines like the Aleppo pine, olive and almond trees. We've also converted the subalpine climate into one that covers the south-eastern mediterranean borders - this have those plus a few palms and cedars.....ground textures are pretty similar to the semi-arid.
I'm not quite sure what Carthaginians are doing that far east!!!
tone just threw in an extra surprise with those images - I wonder if anyone will notice.
