Export Descr_Buildings Error

Can someone upload their export_descr_buldings file which is located Rio/Data? I keep getting a message that it expects or requires something from line 2243.

Hi The10thLegion
When this happens it usually means a file somewhere usually in the rtw/data has been compromised(altered)thus the mod switcher will not load up

I Do have a RaR version(non mod switcher) for those who run into such probs but off course it takes up space unlike the mod switcher

No.. not that much work but its just the old way of installing mods. You have to make a copy of your rtw folder and use that copy to install the mod.

Sorry to be a bit annoying, but didn't you say that one of my RTW folders was the reason why it doesn't work?

It doesn't make since too since all the mods I have ever downloaded were modfoldered.

Not annoying.. and I dont mind trying to help you any way I can. It is actually quite frustrating to me see this error pop up once in awhile for some players dont seem to have any knowledge of ever changing a file within rtw/data..but I have heard of a few modfoldered mods in the past that have changed a file in the rtw/data file thus an issue could result. I do know if the instructions are followed correctly, that the bi is copied first and changed to rio, the mod works fine. If not then something somehow has to have been modified previous to the install...most likely in the rtw/data files.

Well, I think I had the wrong path or something the first time. Other than that I have no clue, this mod is so fun though .

I have the right path as far as i know but i still get the same error, my shortcut is as follows

"F:\The Creative Assembly\IFBD7\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:ibfd -show_err

bare in mind i have a separate drive for all my games, this is my "F" drive

-This may be the mod your are trying to DL? Some confusion around the name for it was once called IBFD...IBFD7

Usually this happens because something has been altered in the original rtw bi files. Its odd for some peope have stated if they re installed a bunch of times, the mod it has worked. You downloaded the version from here?

The10thLegion had a similar error but fixed it as posted above

Whats the installation path of the mod? Give me your installation path and the launchers target and start in. It can be found in the launcher icon properties

I wonder if you changed it(EVERYTHING) to "C:\Program_Files\Activision\Rome - Total War ......if it would work
