Assasination videos- use the ones from shogun?

Any chance the assasination videos from shogun could be implemented into this game? I loved those vids, the ones in more recent games just wern't as fun

In Shogun the most likely ones you saw was your assassin dying. Oh, the days of sending dozens of ninja to slowly kill an army. All because the captain was counted as one of the men

You could kill an army one man at a time.

Shogun videos are definitely cool, the problem is they're very distinctly Japanese, and a few hundred years later to boot. In respect to history we'd be better off opting for no videos than videos from any of the TW games previously. But can't say I know for sure on any of that.

I personally wouldn't mind no videos. They can get a bit annoying. Especially if you're waging a war of assasins... 10 of the same video in one year...

movies = false

at your preferences file

I do for most mods but i have a few going at the same time so i sometimes forget which ones have it and which ones don't.

Well, why not retrofitting the audio and music from Shogun? There should be some nice speeches and sounds you could rip from the game for the Japanese faction.

I always do that, so movies or no movies is irrelevant to me.

I am pretty sure you guys mean this one:

assassination_movies = 0

movies = 0 (or false) only deactivates the intro movies and the background movie in the faction\option screen.
