I just bought the parts to build my own computer.

Coolmaster case.
GF8200a mobo.
PhenomII 940.
4 gig ddr2 1066hz ram.
9800gt video card.

I unplug my monitor from this computer, monitor goes to test screen. I plug it into the new mobo's video port and get a black screen with it turning the screen power off. I plug it into the new Nvidia card, same black screen. I pluf it back into this computer and I am typing this to you.

It's been years since I built a system I don't remember this one without even a POST. I know the power supply works because all the fans work.

If there is a reference someplace I missed please give me a link.
