Re: Swiss and Austrian Militaries
The google book 'The Art of Warfare in the Age of Napoleon '(Gunther Rothenburg) has quite a lot of detail on the Austrian army and the rmilitary reforms during this period. I was unable to copy the url,it's too long but you can google it. As far as I know most Swiss infantry were incorporated into the French army with their distinctive red coats.
Knoetel has quite a few illustrations for Austria

I'm sure Swiss and Austrian units are shown on this Russian site, click to enlarge pictures (Osterreich/Schweiz)

Austria started the wars with an outdated military system but by 1809 ,due to various reforms ,developed a much more effective system. I played some great miniatures battles as Austria ,Eckmuhl,Aspern Essling,Wagram was far too large though. I must have spent a lot on white paint for my Austrian army.
Lots of English language sites
