Dang it. I should visit this thread more often. I knew that one -- though it has been a few years since I have been there. So have you been there Mad Orc? If not I recommend a visit next time you are in Mexico City. Well worth it!
I do not have a clue. Modern in the sense of a (modern) steel stair and railing on what looks like a restored or perhaps rebuilt church. But collapsed concrete cover to what -- a bomb shelter? From a movie set after the last nuclear war? (kidding)
That hint combined with a very orthodox looking church would make me guess somewhere on Cyprus.
Good Dude, what does "levant" mean, for an Aussie??
you should give preciser indications, young sir!

The Saint George Greek Orthodox church in Quneitra on the Golan Heights.
Correct! This church is one of the better preserved buildings in Quneitra, the capital of the Quneitra Governorate in Syria.
The city was originally captured by Israel at the very end of the Six-Day War, and held until the end of the Yom Kippur War, when it was agreed to be returned to Syria as part of a disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria. Prior to the handover, the city was apparently systematically stripped for profit and destroyed by non-government Israelis. For over 40 years, the city has not been rebuilt, while the Syrian government discourages re-settlement in the area.
+rep and your turn.
Lazy and probably used it before, shouldn't be too hard.
