    Wonderful work! The shields seem to have a higher resolution than the normal shields do!? I've tried to just double the size of a shieldtexture but it doesn't work. How did you do this? Thank you!

    He created them in the same resolution as the pics he posted at the beginning of this thread, which is the same resolution they are on the texture file. The vanilla files are ridiculously low resolution by comparison.

    I can't speak for where Pacco got all his inspiration, but in general the geometric designs were found throughout the Muslim world, while the floral designs were more Eastern, but by our time period had spread as far west as Egypt.
